My Summary of Art 2013

I just love it - it's so fun to get an overview and analyze the process of almost an entire year's worth of digital art >w< And comparing it to 2012, wow x'D Now I've gotta do a little commentary just for the fun of it~

Jan: The slightly messy cel shading style, that worked really well for me. Haven't made anything serious with it since then I think  

Feb: Ahh, Messenger. I was thinking of putting my Kili fan art here, but Messenger got a special place in my heart as my first truly successful semi-realism drawing of a human ^^

Mar: Semi-realism all the way~ I was so happy it worked again, and with an OC at that  

Apr: I was on a roll. For my 500th deviation, I wanted to make something special, and ended up exceeding my expectations. 

May: So after all that, I kinda took a break from serious semi-realism… But I did draw a ragdoll :3

June: Mostly small stuff here, cel shading practice.

July: Temporarily went back to the neater cel shading style from last year with this one.

August: Started doing some serious line art with satisfying results  

September: Month of the SnK fan art xD Combined serious line art with serious cel shading here.

October: Finally got my courage back and drew some serious semi-realism - but in a different style  

November: The most unproductive month… Mostly doodles and quick drawings.

December: Made this Christmas-y drawing and a bunch of sketches for my friends
